Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven District Operations Manager to lead the performance of multiple Express, In-Bay Automatic (IBA), and Full-Service car wash locations. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, profitability, team development, customer satisfaction, and sustainable growth across the district.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong business acumen who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. This individual will oversee daily operations, develop high-performing managers, analyze key performance metrics, and partner with executive leadership to execute strategic initiatives that improve operational performance and financial results.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership
- Lead and support multiple Express, IBA, and Full-Service car wash locations while ensuring consistent execution of company standards.
- Drive operational excellence through accountability, coaching, and continuous process improvement.
- Maintain exceptional customer service standards and ensure every location delivers a best-in-class customer experience.
- Promote a culture focused on safety, cleanliness, quality, and operational consistency.
Financial Performance
- Own district Profit & Loss performance and drive profitability across all locations.
- Analyze operational and financial data using Excel and other reporting tools to identify trends and opportunities.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators including:
- EBITDA
- Revenue Growth
- Same-Store Sales
- Car Count
- Average Ticket
- Unlimited Membership Growth & Retention
- Labor Percentage
- Chemical Cost Per Car
- Equipment Uptime
- Customer Satisfaction
- Develop and execute action plans to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop Site Managers and leadership teams.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and create development plans for future leaders.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, recognition, and continuous improvement.
- Build strong employee engagement while maintaining high retention of top performers.
Business Development
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue through fleet partnerships, community engagement, local marketing initiatives, and strategic business development.
- Support new store openings, acquisitions, remodels, and operational transitions when required.
- Partner with executive leadership on district growth initiatives.
Maintenance & Asset Management
- Partner closely with Maintenance and Facilities teams to maximize equipment uptime and minimize operational downtime.
- Assist in identifying capital improvement opportunities and operational upgrades.
- Ensure preventive maintenance programs are consistently executed across the district.
Process Improvement
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Management principles and best operational practices.
- Standardize procedures across locations to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Implement new operational programs and ensure successful execution throughout the district.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of multi-site management experience, preferably in the car wash industry or a high-volume service business.
- Experience managing Express, IBA, Full-Service, automotive service, convenience retail, or quick-service restaurant operations preferred.
- Strong understanding of Profit & Loss management and financial reporting.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated success improving operational performance through data-driven decision making.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience managing operational KPIs and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned district.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
