Role Overview

Moodys NWC is seeking an experienced Product Owner / Product Manager to support our premier banking client within the Customer Identity & Authentication organization. This role is ideal for a product professional with a strong background in digital banking, identity & authentication, and enterprise product delivery who thrives in highly regulated financial environments.

The successful candidate will partner with Product, Technology, Operations, Digital Channels, and Business stakeholders to lead product delivery initiatives from concept through implementation.

This individual will drive requirements gathering, product planning, release coordination, process optimization, stakeholder communication, and business transformation initiatives while ensuring successful execution across the product lifecycle.

Candidates with prior experience delivering digital products for leading financial institutions or major banking organizations are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Delivery & Execution
• Lead end-to-end product delivery activities including intake, planning, dependency management, release management, implementation readiness, and product operationalization.
• Coordinate product releases across cross-functional teams while ensuring delivery timelines and quality objectives are achieved.
• Monitor project risks, blockers, dependencies, and resource allocation to ensure successful execution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance delivery processes and operational efficiency.
• Product Ownership & Business Analysis
• Gather, analyze, document, and prioritize business requirements using interviews, workshops, stakeholder meetings, and process analysis.
• Translate business objectives into user stories, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.
• Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, and Operations teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Evaluate business needs and recommend scalable product solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
• Digital Banking & Customer Identity
• Support initiatives focused on Customer Identity, Authentication, Digital Banking, and customer experience improvements.
• Collaborate with Digital, Branch, Operations, Contact Center, and IVR teams to define business processes and implementation strategies.
• Drive initiatives that improve digital customer journeys, authentication experiences, and operational efficiency.
• Project & Change Management
• Develop project plans, business cases, implementation strategies, and delivery roadmaps.
• Coordinate business transformation initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Support change management activities while ensuring compliance with enterprise governance and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare executive-level presentations, project scorecards, dashboards, and status reporting.
• Process Improvement & Analytics
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Conduct process mapping, workflow analysis, and operational assessments.
• Perform data analysis to support business recommendations and product decisions.
• Partner with stakeholders to redesign business processes and improve operational effectiveness.
• Stakeholder Management
• Build strong partnerships across Product, Technology, Operations, Digital Banking, Risk, Compliance, and Executive Leadership.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, planning meetings, and executive presentations.
• Communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and milestones to leadership.
• Manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
• Required Skills &

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline.5+ years of Product Owner, Product Manager, Product Delivery Manager, Business Analyst, or Project Management experience.
• Strong experience delivering Digital Banking or Enterprise Digital Products.
• Experience working within large banking or financial services organizations is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Customer Identity & Authentication initiatives.
• Proven experience gathering business requirements and translating them into product solutions.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and modern Product Development Lifecycle practices.
• Experience managing end-to-end product delivery and release management activities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, business process analysis, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, and business transformation initiatives.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex enterprise initiatives simultaneously.

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 annually in our lowest geographic market up to $110,000 annually in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
