Digital Transformation / Business Analyst

Role Description This part-time Digital Transformation / Business Analyst role is a hybrid position based in Singapore River, with a combination of on-site work and the flexibility to work from home. The role focuses on analyzing and improving business processes within public finance management and economic policy workflows.

Day-to-day tasks include gathering and documenting business requirements, mapping current and future-state processes, and supporting digital transformation initiatives such as system enhancements and workflow automation. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders across departments, facilitate workshops and meetings, and prepare clear reports and presentations to inform decision-making.

The role also involves monitoring the effectiveness of implemented solutions and recommending continuous improvements aligned with the Ministry’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Business Analysis capabilities to interpret data, assess processes, and propose effective solutions.
• Candidates should possess solid Business Process and Business Requirements skills to document workflows, define needs, and translate them into actionable specifications.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to engage stakeholders, facilitate discussions, and present complex information clearly.
• Experience with digital transformation projects, public sector or financial services environments is beneficial.
• Relevant academic background in Economics, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven ability to work in a hybrid setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with process modeling tools, requirements management techniques, and basic project management practices is an advantage.
