Job Title: Director, Data Management

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Rate: $70-100/hr

We are seeking an experienced Director, Data Management to lead enterprise-wide data warehousing, governance, and AI-driven data initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with Informatica IDMC and Amazon Redshift, proven leadership experience managing large data engineering teams, and the ability to drive enterprise data strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise data warehouse solutions using AWS Redshift and Informatica IDMC.

Drive data governance initiatives, including data quality, lineage, metadata management, and compliance.

Build and manage scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and modern data platforms.

Lead AI-enabled data management initiatives and promote responsible AI adoption.

Partner with business, product, risk, and executive stakeholders to align data strategy with organizational goals.

Mentor and lead data engineering teams while managing vendor relationships and technology roadmaps.

Required Skills

10+ years of experience in Data Warehousing/Data Engineering.

5+ years of leadership experience managing enterprise data teams.

Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC and Amazon Redshift (required).

Expertise in ETL/ELT, SQL optimization, data modeling, data governance, data quality, and metadata management.

Experience with Python, CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub), AWS, and cloud-based data architectures.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and people leadership skills.

AI literacy and experience leveraging AI tools in data management.

Knowledge of data security and compliance standards (SOC 2, PCI DSS)
