In this role, you will play a key role in shaping strategic business decisions at WaterNSW by delivering high-quality financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and insights that drive organisational performance.

Maintain integrity of financial data and systems to ensure all financial information is validated, reliable, and fit for purpose.
Provide clear analysis of financial performance, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities to support achievement of business targets.
Support the delivery of high-quality budgets and forecasts that reflect WaterNSW priorities, assumptions and constraints.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements in all financial activities.
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting standards to enhance efficiency and value.
Relevant tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, business, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated in financial analysis, planning, and reporting in complex environments.
Demonstrated understanding of financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting principals and the ability to interpret relevant legislation, regulations and accounting standards.
Experienced and comfortable with engaging with stakeholders to deliver financial advice and insights, as well as preparing and presenting financial information to support decision-making.
High proficiency in financial systems and analytical tools, with awareness of risk management and compliance requirements.
Current NSW Drivers Licence.
