About the Role

Lead Complex Software Delivery. Drive Alignment. Deliver Outcomes.

We're looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager who thrives in complexity and knows how to turn ambitious ideas into shipped software. You'll own execution across multiple strategic initiatives, partnering with Product, Engineering, Design, QA, and business leaders to ensure priorities stay aligned, risks are managed early, and teams consistently deliver.

This isn't a project coordinator role. We're looking for someone who naturally creates clarity, builds momentum, removes obstacles, and holds teams accountable without relying on organizational hierarchy.

What You'll Own/Do

Own Delivery from Planning to Launch

• Lead multiple complex software initiatives from planning through production release and post-launch stabilization.
• Build realistic execution plans that balance business priorities, engineering capacity, quality, and delivery speed.
• Identify risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and execution gaps before they impact delivery.
• Keep initiatives aligned with product strategy and organizational objectives.

Bring Structure to Ambiguity

• Translate evolving business requirements into actionable execution plans.
• Define milestones, priorities, timelines, and ownership.
• Create lightweight documentation that enables clarity without unnecessary process.
• Help leadership make informed decisions by clearly communicating tradeoffs and recommendations.
• Adapt quickly as priorities evolve while maintaining delivery momentum.

Drive Cross-Functional Execution

• Coordinate work across Product, Engineering, QA, Design, Operations, and business stakeholders.
• Establish clear accountability and ownership across globally distributed teams.
• Lead planning sessions, status reviews, risk discussions, retrospectives, and delivery checkpoints.
• Communicate progress, blockers, and decisions with transparency and confidence.

Improve How We Execute

• Continuously improve project management practices, planning, and delivery predictability.
• Strengthen Agile execution across teams.
• Improve prioritization, visibility, and operational efficiency.
• Raise the overall quality and consistency of software delivery through disciplined execution.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of project, program, or delivery management experience within software or technology organizations.
• 2+ years leading complex software initiatives in a senior-level project management role.
• Demonstrated success delivering large, cross-functional software projects from concept through launch.
• Experience partnering closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, QA, UX/UI Designers, and executive stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies, sprint planning, release management, and software delivery lifecycles.
• Experience improving project management processes within growing technology organizations.
• Ability to understand technical architecture, engineering dependencies, and product tradeoffs without being an engineer.
• Outstanding communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to influence decisions, align teams, and drive accountability without formal authority.
• Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
• Language Requirement*
• Professional working proficiency in both English AND Mandarin required
• This role regularly collaborates with Mandarin-speaking technical and operational teams across global business functions

Bonus Points for Candidates Who Have

• Experience working in both high-growth startups and established enterprise software companies.
• Delivered SaaS or cloud-based software products.
• Experience scaling Agile practices in rapidly growing engineering organizations.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or similar certifications.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar project management platforms.

The pay range for this role is

140,000 - 190,000 USD per year(HQ - Austin)
