POSITION SUMMARY
We are developing next-generation connected and intelligent flight systems, featuring advanced AI-enabled video and data processing platforms designed to revolutionize how flight crews perceive and interact with their environment. These innovations deliver superior situational awareness and enhanced safety, even in low-visibility conditions.
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to drive the roadmap and execution of these cutting-edge products. This role sits at the intersection of hardware, software, and artificial intelligence, leading a world-class engineering team to transition groundbreaking technology from concept to certified cockpit solutions.
The TPM works closely with and supports the assigned Program Manager (PM) throughout the project lifecycle.ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Project Leadership:
- Lead cross-functional teams developing state-of-the-art avionics products from proposal phase through certification and production handoff
- Dive into technical complexities to proactively drive and influence critical engineering decisions
- Manage technical scope effectively while balancing competing priorities
- Planning & Control:
- Develop technical proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), and comprehensive project plans
- Ensure all execution aligns with internal processes and meets applicable customer and regulatory standards
- Schedule & Budget Management:
- Build and maintain detailed project schedules
- Oversee resource allocation and technical scope control
- Achieve company targets for schedule adherence and budget performance
- Risk & Reporting:
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks; develop and maintain a Risk Management Plan
- Deliver clear, timely project status updates to Program Management and senior leadership
- Compliance:
- Partner with Export Controls and Compliance POC to address all regulatory considerations prior to project initiation
- CORE COMPETENCIES:To perform this role successfully, individuals should demonstrate the following:
- Proven leadership in managing complex engineering projects (aerospace background is a strong plus)
- Working knowledge of AI systems, computer vision, image processing, neural networks, or sensor fusion technologies (preferred)
- Familiarity with embedded software, hardware acceleration, or real-time video/data processing architectures
- Positive attitude with genuine intellectual curiosity and a growth mindset
- Strong planning and organizational capabilities using tools such as MS Project and Jira
- Track record of leading cross-functional technical teams and delivering measurable results
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

- Minimum 5 years of engineering design and development experience, preferably within the aviation industry
- Minimum 3 years of engineering project management experience, preferably within the aviation industry
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and possessing strong leadership capabilities
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
