PLUMBING & FIRE SPRINKLER PROJECT MANAGER

Addison PHS Corp. is a licensed commercial plumbing and fire sprinkler contractor serving New York City and Long Island.

Our projects range from full-floor office fit-outs and core bathroom builds to fitness facilities, institutional campuses, and hotel and residential conversions. We are hiring a Project Manager to own the day-to-day flow of our commercial projects from award through closeout.

What You'll Do

• Manage multiple active commercial plumbing and fire sprinkler projects concurrently, from kickoff through punch list and closeout.
• Attend weekly GC site and foreman meetings, and represent Addison professionally with general contractors, construction managers, building owners, and engineers.
• Keep projects flowing: track progress floor by floor, identify what's blocking the schedule, and drive it to resolution before it costs a day.
• Own fixture and material logistics - takeoffs, ordering against supplier quotes, delivery scheduling to site, and stored-material tracking.
• Manage the approvals pipeline: submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders - tracked, followed up, and never left sitting.
• Communicate daily with our office admin team; team up with them to get all work entered into our project systems (change order logs, daily notes, billing backup) accurately and on time.
• Monitor manpower against commitments so crews are where the GC expects them, every day they're expected.
• Ensure project deadlines are met - inspections, TCO dates, client move-ins - and escalate early when they're at risk.

What You Bring

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in commercial plumbing and/or fire sprinkler project management (contractor side).
• Working knowledge of NYC construction: DOB permits and inspections, GC coordination, submittal and change order discipline.
• Ability to read plumbing, sprinkler, and architectural drawings, and to perform takeoffs and quantity checks.
• Strong written communication - your emails to GCs become the project record.
• Organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing several jobs and personalities at once.
• Experience with Procore, Monday.com, or similar project platforms a plus. OSHA 30 preferred.

Compensation & Details

• $100,000 per year, full-time.
• Based out of our Manhattan office (27 West 23rd Street) with regular travel to active sites in NYC and Long Island.
