Position Overview

The Blue SkAI is seeking a visionary and strategic VP of Product to lead and oversee our product management and development efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring our educational products in Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, AGI, and Psychology are innovative, user-centric, and aligned with our mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with The Blue SkAI’s mission and goals.
• Lead and mentor the product management team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and post-launch optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and content, to ensure successful product delivery.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product strategy.
• Engage with users and stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure products meet their needs and expectations.
• Prioritize product features and initiatives based on business objectives, user needs, and market trends.
• Monitor and analyze product performance, leveraging data to drive continuous improvement and inform strategic decisions.
• Ensure products are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Represent The Blue SkAI at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote our products and mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully developing and launching innovative products.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Deep understanding of product development methodologies and tools.
• Experience in the educational or non-profit sector is highly desirable.
• Passion for education and a strong understanding of Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, AGI, or Psychology is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
