Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with 3–5 years of experience to support the migration of application security scanning from Veracode to Snyk. The Hiring Manager is open to candidates with strong DevOps and CI/CD expertise in place of direct Snyk experience.

The ideal candidate will work closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to coordinate onboarding, streamline migration activities, and integrate security scanning into CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Migration & Onboarding

• Coordinate the migration of application security scanning from Veracode to Snyk.
• Engage with development teams to onboard applications to the new security platform.
• Track migration progress, resolve onboarding blockers, and ensure timely completion.
• Provide guidance to teams on integrating security scanning into development workflows.

DevOps / CI/CD Support

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
• Support automation of security checks within build and deployment processes.
• Analyze existing CI/CD workflows and recommend improvements for secure DevSecOps practices.
• Work with development teams to ensure seamless adoption of automated security testing.

Business Analysis & Documentation

• Gather business and technical requirements for migration activities.
• Document migration plans, workflows, configurations, and onboarding procedures.
• Create reports, dashboards, and migration status updates for stakeholders.
• Maintain detailed documentation and knowledge base for future reference.

Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with Security, DevOps, Development, and Infrastructure teams.
• Communicate migration progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Facilitate meetings and provide regular project updates to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) or similar role.
• Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, Bamboo, or similar.
• Familiarity with application security concepts and security scanning tools.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional technical projects or tool migrations.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Snyk, Veracode, or other application security scanning tools.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, secure SDLC, and vulnerability management.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
