What You Will Do

• Gather and clean data from various sources to support internal mandates and client reviews.
• Build and maintain dashboards that track the performance of financial portfolios for our North American financial services client.
• Assist principals in identifying trends within a holding company to support portfolio clarity.
• Create simple, clear visualizations that explain complex trends to non-technical stakeholders.
• Perform routine quality checks on data to ensure accuracy and consistency across all strategy reports.
• Research industry benchmarks to provide context for the performance of specific client investments.
• Draft brief summaries of findings that focus on plain English rather than technical jargon.
• Support the firm in building efficient internal systems for tracking project progress and resource allocation.

What We Are Looking For

• Basic familiarity with data visualization software such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Logical thinking skills with the ability to spot errors or outliers in a dataset.
• Strong writing skills and the ability to present a clear argument based on data.
• A basic understanding of how spreadsheets work for organizing and calculating information.
• The ability to work independently in a remote setting while staying organized.
