Senior Financial Analyst - Real Estate - Dallas, TX

LHH is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst on behalf of a well-established and growing commercial real estate investment and development organization. This position is ideal for an analytical finance professional with experience supporting commercial real estate development and investment decisions through advanced financial modeling, portfolio analysis, and market research.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate finance, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to communicate financial insights to senior leadership.

Job Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models for commercial real estate development projects, acquisitions, and existing assets.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts, IRR/NPV analyses, sensitivity analyses, and capital structure models.
• Analyze construction budgets, operating performance, rent rolls, lease structures, and investment assumptions.
• Evaluate asset and portfolio performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Support acquisition, refinancing, recapitalization, and disposition analyses.
• Conduct market research including rental rates, sales comparables, cap rates, demographic trends, and competitive market conditions.
• Assist with project feasibility studies and financial due diligence for new investment opportunities.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive leadership and external stakeholders.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis that supports strategic business decisions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate finance, acquisitions, asset management, or development finance.
• Strong knowledge of commercial real estate financial modeling and investment analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex financial models and sensitivity analysis.
• Experience analyzing operating statements, construction budgets, and lease structures.
• Experience with Yardi is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial findings to business leaders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
