Investor Relations & FP&A Analyst I (AKA Financial Analyst) | BKV Corporation (NYSE: BKV) | Denver, CO

Are you a sharp financial analyst who builds models from scratch, owns them, and uses them to drive decisions - not just report them?

BKV Corporation is a NYSE-listed natural gas company with a differentiated, closed-loop energy platform spanning upstream production, midstream, power generation, and carbon capture (CCUS). We went public in 2024 and we're building - which means this role has real ownership, real exposure, and a real seat at the table.

What you'll do

→ Own and maintain detailed, multi-segment 3-statement financial models built in Excel - income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow

→ Build and stress-test DCF, scenario, and sensitivity analyses to support capital allocation and strategic planning

→ Derive and communicate insights from model outputs - capital structure, leverage metrics, and return scenarios for senior leadership

→ Prepare earnings materials, variance analysis, and guidance scenarios for the street

→ Build and maintain peer benchmarking, valuation models, and IR analytics

→ Collaborate directly with the CFO organization and VP of Investor Relations

→ Contribute to the KPIs, dashboards, and financial models investors actually see

What you bring

→ Requires financial modeling experience built in an investment banking or buy-side/sell-side equity research seat - this is the core technical requirement. Early-career candidates on this path (1-2 years in an analyst seat) are encouraged to apply. FP&A, accounting, or corporate finance experience is a plus in addition to this background, but does not substitute for it.

→ Excel-native 3-statement modeling fluency - you build from scratch, stress-test assumptions, and defend your outputs

→ DCF and multi-segment model experience

→ Public company awareness - you know what earnings season feels like

→ Ability to translate model outputs into a clear story for decision makers, not just a spreadsheet

→ Energy sector knowledge or genuine curiosity about where natural gas + CCUS is headed

→ CFA progress a plus; grit is non-negotiable
