Senior Financial Analyst, Industrial Manufacturing

Our client is a well-established multinational organization in industrial manufacturing with a significant footprint across the Asia-Pacific region. As part of its regional finance team, the company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, analysis and controlling activities across multiple markets and business units.

Reporting to the Regional Controller, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and insightful financial reporting, supporting management decision-making, and driving performance visibility across the region.

You will be involved in regional corporate reporting, business performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, profitability reviews and KPI monitoring while partnering closely with country finance teams, business controllers and functional stakeholders throughout APAC.

A core aspect of the role includes supporting monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reporting processes, preparing management reports, analysing business performance trends and identifying key variances and commercial insights. You will also contribute to sales and margin analysis, profitability reviews by market and ad-hoc business modelling to support strategic decision-making.

The successful candidate will assist in maintaining KPI dashboards and help enhance reporting transparency through data-driven insights and digital solutions.

In addition, you will support the regional budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes by consolidating submissions, performing detailed variance analysis and identifying risks and opportunities across the business. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables and provide timely financial insights that support business performance and operational effectiveness.

The role will also provide exposure to regional functional controlling activities, including support for business operations, IT, shared services and other corporate functions.

The ideal candidate should possess a Degree in Accountancy, CPA, CA, or an equivalent professional qualification, coupled with more than 5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, commercial finance, business controlling, or regional finance within a multinational environment. Strong analytical skills, business acumen and the ability to interpret financial data into actionable insights are essential.

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required, while exposure to SAP, BI tools, reporting automation and AI-enabled productivity tools will be viewed favourably.
