Senior FInancial Analyst - FP&A

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Senior Financial Analyst to join a high-performing finance team in a highly visible business partnering role. Working closely with senior management, you will play a key role in shaping the organisation's financial strategy through budgeting, forecasting, business performance analysis and strategic investment support.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Business Partnering

• Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, delivering robust financial insights and recommendations.
• Perform variance analysis and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify key business drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
• Monitor cash flow performance and prepare both short- and long-term cash flow forecasts.
• Track key financial and operational KPIs across the P&L, Balance Sheet and
• Cash Flow, recommending initiatives to improve business performance.
• Support the month-end close process by ensuring financial information and journal entries are accurate and delivered on time.

Management Reporting & Business Intelligence

• Prepare high-quality management reports and statutory submissions for internal leadership and external regulatory requirements.
• Develop dashboards and management reporting tools that provide meaningful business insights to senior stakeholders.
• Drive reporting automation and process improvements through Power BI and other digital reporting solutions.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, management accounting, Big 4 audit or a similar commercial finance environment.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CA (MIA/ISCA) will be viewed favourably.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and business performance management.
• Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI (or equivalent reporting tools).
• Experience with Oracle and/or SAP ERP systems is advantageous.
