About the company

A leading 3PL and fulfilment provider is seeking a commercially minded Business Development Manager to drive growth across New Zealand and Australia. This is a hunting role, focused on identifying and securing new business opportunities while helping growing e-commerce and retail brands streamline their warehousing, fulfilment and distribution operations.

You'll be joining a well-established business backed by a nationwide transport and logistics network, offering clients scalable solutions that support growth without the need to invest in their own warehousing infrastructure.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the National Sales & Marketing Manager, you'll take ownership of developing new revenue streams while managing a small portfolio of existing clients.

This role is approximately 80% new business development and 20% account management, making it ideal for someone who enjoys prospecting, networking, cold calling and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships.

Working with businesses across industries such as retail, e-commerce, health, beauty, automotive, DIY, manufacturing and consumer goods, you'll help customers improve fulfilment capability, inventory management and delivery performance.

Key responsibilities include

• Identifying and securing new business opportunities across New Zealand and Australia
• Building relationships with business owners, operations managers, supply chain professionals and decision-makers
• Conducting face-to-face meetings, presentations and solution-based sales discussions
• Managing sales activity through the full sales cycle
• Collaborating with operational teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients
• Growing revenue and achieving individual sales targets
• Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers

About You

• We are interested in speaking with candidates who have:NZ Citizenship or Permanent Residency
• Proven B2B sales and business development experience
• Experience within logistics, warehousing, freight, courier, transport, fulfilment or supply chain industries is highly desirable
• Strong prospecting, lead generation and cold-calling ability
• A consultative and solution-focused sales approach
• The confidence to engage with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A self-motivated and results-driven mindset
