This is a key role in a fast-moving startup environment, suited to someone who is hands-on, proactive, and comfortable building structure where processes are still evolving. You will be responsible for ensuring suppliers are managed effectively, purchase orders are raised and tracked accurately, and products are assembled and shipped on time to support business growth.

- Ensure suppliers confirm orders, production timelines, and shipping dates in line with agreed requirements.
- Proactively monitor all open purchase orders and organize inbound shipments, identifying risks before they impact availability.
- Organise assembly orders with manufacturers and check thoroughly execution of them
- Chase suppliers regularly to ensure products are shipped when expected.
- Escalate delays, supply risks, quality issues, or documentation gaps quickly and clearly.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure stock availability supports sales, operational, and commercial priorities.
- Build and improve supply chain processes, reporting, and ways of working as the business scales.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier updates, shipment timelines, and key actions.
- Review supplier performance and support improvements in delivery reliability, communication, and responsiveness.
- Help create better visibility across the business on what has been ordered, what is delayed, and what is arriving next.
- Support the business with sourcing and negotiation in ad hoc operational and supply chain projects as required in a startup environment.
Key Requirements
- Strong experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, logistics, and supplier management, ideally in a fast-growing business.
- Proven experience managing suppliers directly and holding them accountable to deadlines.
- Strong understanding of purchase order management and inbound shipment organization and tracking.
- Confident working in a hands-on role where attention to detail and follow-through are essential.
- Comfortable operating in a startup or scale-up environment where processes may need to be built or improved.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage suppliers and update internal stakeholders clearly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to act quickly when timelines move or issues arise.
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple suppliers, orders, and shipment deadlines at once.
- Commercial mindset, with an understanding of how supply chain performance impacts sales, stock availability, and growth.
- Comfortable using spreadsheets, inventory systems, ERP platforms, or purchasing tools.
- Desirable Experience
- Experience in beauty or fast moving consumer goods
- Experience working with international suppliers, manufacturers, or freight partners.
- Knowledge of import/export documentation and shipping processes.
- Experience introducing new supply chain processes, reporting, or supplier performance tracking.
- Familiarity with stock planning, demand forecasting, or inventory management.
- Ideally French speaking person or at least able to work in an international environment.
