You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:A Product Owner at Actabl manages, plans and coordinates the development of new products and enhancements of existing products based on short-term and long-term needs. We're hiring a Product Owner to run the day-to-day of the Data & Analytics portfolio.

You'll own the backlog, write the tickets, run the ceremonies, triage questions, manage operational workflows, and keep stakeholders informed. This role blends product ownership, scrum master duties, and light project management; comfort across all three is required.

Requirements

• Unpacking What We’re Looking For
• We’re excited about you because you have:3+ years of product owner, PM, scrum master or other role on a data and analytics team
• Comfort writing tickets, running ceremonies, and managing a backlog
• Understanding of SQL basics and a clear mental model of how data products are built (warehouses, BI tools, ETL/rETL)
• Strong written communication: exec summaries, stakeholder comms, clean tickets
• The ability to switch context from a Zen
• Desk access request to a roadmap conversation to a refinement session in one day without dropping any of them
• You apply strong critical thinking when working with AI-generated output.
• You know how to check for accuracy, identify bias or gaps, and validate results before relying on them.
• You use AI responsibly, with a basic understanding of security, privacy, and ethical data-handling considerations, and you know how to keep sensitive information safe when using AI tools.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position and will be part of our Atlanta or Tampa office with an expectation of working three days (Tuesday-Thursday) in-office and two days (Monday & Friday) remote. Candidates located outside of these Metro Areas, specifically in the Denver area, will be reviewed and considered if necessary.

• Compensation:

Qualified candidates can expect a salary range of $85,000 - $105,000/year depending on experience. Potential for end-of-year bonus earnings and periodic merit increases also available based on company and/or personal performance. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.

We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.

Salary Description $85,000 - $105,000
