About The Role

As a Risk Market Data Analyst at RWEST, you will be responsible for the daily provision of high-quality, validated market data and the coordination of the end-of-day process. You will ensure the timely delivery and integrity of market data and work closely with other Risk departments, Front Office, Back Office, and IT teams in a cross-functional environment.

In addition, you will define, optimize, and manage business processes, data flows, and change management activities to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the daily market data process
• Coordinating the trading end of day process
• Interacting with desk-facing risk teams and front office
• Supporting setup of new trading products
• Calculating historical volatilities and correlation updates
• Analyzing market data and creating regular market data reports
• Implementing process enhancement initiatives, projects and new trading product setups

Job Requirements And Experience

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and derive meaningful insights
• Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
• Experience with a programming language – Python/SQL
• Interest in and willingness to further develop a broad range of technical skills—such as Python, AI, and database technologies—that are already applied within the team, including their use in data analysis, process automation, and continuous process improvement initiatives

Advantageous, But Not Essential

• General knowledge of the risk process framework as well as market data quality assurance and management processes is a plus
