Systems and Operations Lead (Contract to Hire) - Gevity, AustinGevity is a members-only wellness workspace and social club in Austin. We're built on four things: movement, recovery, work, and community. Behind the calm room and the cold plunge is a stack of systems that has to run quietly and never break.

That's where you come in.

We're looking for someone who treats clean operations the way our coaches treat good form. This is the person who owns the connective tissue of the business: our payment and membership systems, our automations, and the day-to-day tech that keeps a physical club humming.

What you'll own:

Our systems backbone, end to end. Membership and billing across PeopleVine, GoCardless, and Stripe. Workflow and automation through Zapier. Our CRM in Salesforce. Data in Airtable. Internal comms in Slack. You'll keep them connected, keep them clean, and fix things before anyone notices they were broken.

On the in-club tech side, you won't be alone. Network, member access, AV, and devices get handled hand in hand with our Club Director, who stays close to the physical side of the club. You'll be the systems brain in the room, with a partner on the hardware when something needs hands on it.

Who you are

• You've built or run a real systems stack before, ideally somewhere payments and memberships meet.
• You think in workflows and edge cases.
• You're comfortable with money flowing through software and the care that requires.
• You're handy enough with hardware and networking that you don't flinch when something physical goes wrong.
• You communicate like a human, not a ticket.
• The shape of the role:
• This starts as a part-time contract, roughly 15-20 hours a week, with one day flexible to work from home.
• As Gevity grows, this is built to grow into a full-time seat.
• We'll be upfront with you about what that path looks like and what it takes to get there.

Compensation

• $40 an Hour
