Finance Intern (Financial Planning & Analysis)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This is for university students looking to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis within a dynamic business environment. The role will also involve working closely with financial data, ensuring its accuracy, completeness, and consistency across reports and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses
• Perform data reconciliation across multiple systems and reports to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Validate and check financial data for completeness, identifying discrepancies and following up on variances
• Assist in maintaining clean and reliable datasets for reporting and analysis
• Analyze financial performance against budgets and provide insights on key trends and drivers
• Help maintain and improve financial models and reporting tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial and operational data
• Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Good understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail, especially when handling large datasets
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
