Role Description

The Director of Business Development is a full-time, on-site role based in Scottsdale, AZ, responsible for driving growth and expanding client relationships in the hospitality sector. This role oversees new business acquisition, identifies strategic opportunities with hotels and resorts, and builds long-term partnerships to increase market share.

Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and lead generation, conducting client meetings and presentations, and developing tailored proposals that align with client staffing needs. The Director manages the full sales cycle, including contract negotiation, onboarding new accounts, and collaborating with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

The role also involves monitoring market trends, refining business strategies, and reporting on performance metrics to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with a strong track record of acquiring and growing client accounts.
• Experience in Business Planning, including developing growth strategies, sales forecasts, and market expansion initiatives.
• Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, with the ability to structure agreements that align client objectives with company capabilities.
• Strong Account Management skills, including maintaining relationships, managing service expectations, and driving account retention and growth.
• Prior experience in hospitality, staffing, or service-based industries is highly beneficial.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Proven ability to work independently, prioritize opportunities, and meet or exceed revenue and performance targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
