About the Role

Transformco is looking for an experienced and supportive Talent Acquisition Manager to lead a remote team of approximately 15 recruiters supporting high-volume hiring across technician, skilled-trades, frontline, and hourly roles.

This is a fast-moving environment with ambitious hiring goals. The role is ideal for a people manager who enjoys staying close to the day-to-day work, helping recruiters succeed, solving problems quickly, and creating the structure needed for a large team to perform consistently.

You will work closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition, who will continue to lead the broader recruiting strategy, transformation, and automation roadmap. Your focus will be on bringing that strategy to life through strong team leadership, daily operational ownership, reliable reporting, and consistent execution.

What You’ll DoLead, coach, and develop a remote team of approximately 15 recruiters.

Create a positive, accountable environment where team members understand their priorities and feel supported in achieving their goals.

Oversee day-to-day recruiting operations and help ensure the function runs smoothly.

Set clear weekly and monthly expectations related to pipeline activity, offers, hires, and candidate follow-up.

Review recruiter workloads and help distribute positions based on hiring demand, market priorities, recruiter capacity, and job complexity.

Stay close to open positions, candidate pipelines, pending offers, aging requisitions, and other items that may affect hiring results.

Identify roadblocks early and work with recruiters and business partners to resolve them quickly.

Own weekly and monthly recruiting reports and provide clear, accurate updates on progress, risks, and priorities.

Coach the team on sourcing, candidate engagement, interview management, offer delivery, and closing.

Support hiring across multiple planning areas, ZIP codes, and geographic markets.

Help build strong and sustainable pipelines for experienced technicians and skilled-trades talent.

Partner with business and operations leaders to understand changing workforce needs and adjust recruiting priorities.

Improve recruiting processes, reporting practices, technology adoption, and team efficiency.

Support the use of sourcing agents, AI-enabled tools, automation, dashboards, and other recruiting technology.

Remain connected to the work and provide hands-on recruiting support for urgent or difficult-to-fill roles when needed.

What We’re Looking For
At least 4–5 years of experience managing a large recruiting or Talent Acquisition team
Experience leading a team similar in size to our current group of approximately 15 recruiters
Strong knowledge of high-volume recruiting and the pace, discipline, and follow-up it requires
Experience supporting technician, skilled-trades, frontline, hourly, field-service, or other blue-collar hiring
A proven ability to coach, develop, motivate, and retain recruiters
Experience managing team performance through clear goals, regular feedback, and practical support
Strong understanding of recruiting funnels, productivity measures, conversion rates, and hiring reports
Experience balancing recruiter workloads and assigning positions across multiple markets or locations
The ability to stay organized and make thoughtful decisions in a changing, high-demand environment
Strong communication, judgment, follow-through, and problem-solving skills
Comfort working with applicant-tracking systems, dashboards, sourcing tools, automation, and AI-enabled recruiting technology
Experience managing a remote team is strongly preferred
