Recruiter

Surge Staffing is hiring a Recruiter to join our team in Columbus! If you love connecting people to opportunities and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be your next move.

As a Recruiter, you'll own the full hiring cycle for our internal field staffing offices — from sourcing and screening to extending offers — helping great candidates find great jobs.

What You'll Do

• Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of staffing locations
• Post open roles across job boards and other channels
• Build and maintain a strong, active candidate pipeline
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and present qualified candidates
• Keep candidates informed and engaged throughout the process
• Maintain accurate records in our applicant tracking system (ATS)
• Stay current on hiring trends and market conditions
• Pitch in on other projects as needed

What We're Looking For

• Some experience in recruiting, customer service, sales, or a people-focused role — recruiting experience is a plus, but not required.
• We're happy to train the right person!
• Comfortable on the phone and with virtual meeting platforms
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• A positive, professional attitude and the ability to stay cool under deadline pressure
• Interest in learning employment law and compliance basics (we'll help you get there)
