Regional Field Service Manager

Role Description The Regional Field Service Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Columbus, OH, responsible for overseeing field service operations within an assigned region. This role manages and directs field service teams performing testing, maintenance, and commissioning of medium- and high-voltage electrical infrastructure for utility, industrial, and renewable energy clients.

Day-to-day responsibilities include scheduling and dispatching crews, monitoring project progress, ensuring safety and quality standards, coordinating with engineering and project management teams, and resolving operational issues.

The Regional Field Service Manager is expected to track performance metrics, manage budgets, support staffing and training needs, and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. This position requires regular presence in the field to provide leadership, guidance, and technical oversight to service personnel.

Qualifications

• Field service leadership and team management skills, including supervision of technical staff, performance monitoring, and coaching.
• Experience with medium- and high-voltage electrical systems, testing, maintenance, and commissioning in utility, industrial, or energy environments.
• Strong project coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to manage schedules, resources, and multiple concurrent assignments.
• Commitment to safety practices and compliance, including knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and company procedures.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with customers, field crews, engineers, and management.
• Ability to analyze operational data, identify issues, and implement practical solutions to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Proficiency with common business and reporting tools (e.g., MS Office, scheduling software, and service management systems).
• Relevant technical education or experience in electrical engineering, industrial technology, or a related field; prior experience in a field service management or supervisory role is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work on-site in Columbus, OH and travel within the region as needed for field oversight and customer support.
