Remote Software Engineer – Growth Platform, Backend

Role Overview

This position involves building and maintaining systems that support growth channels by managing complex data flows, integrating diverse data sources, and applying AI/LLMs to unstructured information. You will collaborate with product, data, and design teams to develop internal platforms and pipelines that enable scalable growth and business experimentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop software to expand user base and optimize growth strategies
• Design and implement data ingestion, activation pipelines, and internal growth platforms
• Leverage AI for data processing, normalization, and deriving growth signals
• Conduct experiments to drive business metrics through software solutions
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions

Qualifications & Skills

• At least 3 years of software development experience
• Proficiency in building real-time, reliable applications with modern tools
• Strong problem-solving, creativity, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Curiosity and passion for continuous learning and technical excellence

Preferred Experience

• Startup experience as a technical co-founder or early engineer
• Familiarity with the modern data stack (ETL tools, workflow orchestrators, data platforms)
• Experience applying AI/LLMs in production
• Knowledge of engineering best practices, including system design, testing, and documentation
• Experience building user-facing data applications and understanding marketing/sales automation tools
