Role Overview

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will lead large-scale technical initiatives across software engineering, cloud infrastructure, networking, and secure systems. Your responsibilities include designing, building, and evolving critical systems that impact customer reliability, security, and operational performance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems, mentor engineers, and contribute to architectural decisions that ensure scalability and long-term maintainability.

Key Duties

• Lead cross-team technical projects from planning to delivery.
• Drive decisions on systems spanning application, infrastructure, networking, and cloud environments.
• Debug and resolve complex issues in distributed systems.
• Contribute to architectural direction, scalability, and reliability improvements.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
• Collaborate with product, security, and operations teams to ensure reliable customer outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with project leadership.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and paradigms.
• Solid understanding of network architecture, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and cloud networking constructs.
• Experience with distributed systems, APIs, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Ability to lead efforts through ambiguity and produce technical documentation.

Additional Skills (Optional)

• Experience with full-stack development, backend, DevOps, or networking.
• Knowledge of security standards and compliance frameworks.
• Experience in regulated or high-growth environments.
