About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst to transform data into actionable insights that support informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with underwriting, claims, actuarial, and product teams to gather requirements and translate them into warehouse data models, reporting specs, and dashboards
• Contribute to the design and evolution of our enterprise data warehouse: subject areas, dimensional models (facts/dimensions), source-to-target mappings, and conformed definitions across policy, claims, premium, and exposure domains
• Query, profile, and validate data in Snowflake (SQL) to answer business questions, reconcile warehouse outputs against source systems, and ensure data quality
• Own the roadmap and backlog for warehouse enhancements and BI deliverables; prioritize, write user stories, and manage delivery with data engineering through ETL/ELT release cycles
• Support migration of legacy warehouse/reporting assets to the Snowflake platform, including validation and stakeholder sign-off
• Build and maintain dashboards and self-service analytics (Power BI or Tableau) on top of governed warehouse layers
• Support data governance: business glossary, lineage, documentation, and critical data element ownership.

Required Skills

• 3+ years in data analysis or data product/program management with hands-on data warehouse experience, ideally in P&C insurance or another regulated industry
• Strong SQL and practical Snowflake experience (warehouses, schemas, roles; data sharing and dbt a plus)
• Solid grasp of data warehousing concepts — dimensional modeling (Kimball), star schemas, slowly changing dimensions, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data marts
• Understanding of insurance data and how it flows from core systems into the warehouse and out to reporting and regulatory outputs
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) and agile delivery (Jira, user stories, sprint ceremonies)
• Excellent communication skills; able to bridge business stakeholders and engineers.

Preferred Skills

Guidewire or Duck Creek data familiarity, legacy warehouse migration experience (e.g., SQL Server/Teradata/Oracle to Snowflake), Python, data cataloging tools (Collibra/Alation), CPCU or INS coursework.
