I.K. Hofmann USA, Inc. is seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Account Executive to help grow our business in South Atlanta area (from airport area to i-75 South towards Henry County and i-85 south towards Newnan). This position's base salary will be $45,000 to $65,000 annually plus an uncapped commission plan.
This position reports the Vice President of Sales and will partner with local Branch Manager(s) on business transactions.
This is an early-career sales opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, starting conversations, learning about local businesses, and developing new client relationships. The right candidate will be coachable, organized, goal-oriented, and comfortable reaching out to potential clients by phone, email, LinkedIn, and in person.
You do not need to be an experienced staffing salesperson. We will provide training, coaching, sales support, and industry knowledge to help you succeed. Some previous experience in sales, recruiting, hospitality, retail, business development, or another customer-facing role is helpful.
In this role, you will identify prospective clients, schedule meetings, learn about their workforce needs, and help introduce I.K. Hofmann’s staffing services. Our branch delivery teams manage the day-to-day recruiting and staffing operations after an account is opened, allowing you to remain focused on building relationships, developing your territory, and creating new business opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Business Development and Sales
- Identify potential clients within an assigned territory.
- Conduct daily outreach through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and follow-up activity.
- Introduce I.K. Hofmann’s staffing services to companies in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, light industrial, automotive, and professional industries.
- Schedule discovery calls and client meetings with support from sales leadership.
- Ask questions to understand each prospect’s hiring needs, workforce challenges, and current staffing model.
- Help prepare and present staffing solutions with guidance from sales leadership and branch delivery teams.
- Follow up consistently with prospects and maintain professional communication throughout the sales process.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and sales opportunities.
- Work toward monthly and quarterly goals for outreach activity, meetings, pipeline growth, and new business development.
- Develop the skills needed to manage client objections, negotiate agreements, and help close new accounts.
CRM and Activity Management
- Record calls, emails, meetings, notes, follow-ups, and sales opportunities in the CRM.
- Use the CRM daily to organize prospect lists, schedule follow-up activity, and track pipeline progress.
- Maintain accurate and current contact and company information.
- Review assigned prospects and prioritize outreach based on opportunity, location, industry, and hiring activity.
- Complete weekly sales activity and training assignments.
Client Relationship Support
- Serve as a sales contact during the prospecting, sales, and initial onboarding process.
- Work with branch delivery teams to help ensure a smooth transition when a new account begins service.
- Communicate client expectations, hiring needs, job details, and service requirements clearly to internal teams.
- Participate in client check-ins to support satisfaction and relationship development.
- Identify opportunities to provide staffing support for additional roles, shifts, departments, or locations.
- Learn how to provide helpful workforce guidance by understanding each client’s business and hiring challenges.
Territory Development
- Help develop and follow a territory plan for the Greenville market and surrounding area.
- Research local employers, hiring trends, business growth, competitors, and potential staffing needs.
- Organize outreach by industry, location, company size, and hiring activity.
- Attend networking events, trade shows, job fairs, and local business functions as needed.
- Share market feedback with sales leadership and branch teams.
- Represent I.K. Hofmann professionally in the community and at client locations.
Training and Collaboration
- Participate in sales training, coaching sessions, role-playing, and regular performance reviews.
- Work closely with the Vice President of Sales to improve prospecting, communication, meeting, and closing skills.
- Collaborate with recruiting and branch delivery teams to understand available staffing services.
- Learn the fundamentals of the staffing industry, including pricing, service agreements, recruiting operations, safety, and client onboarding.
- Accept coaching and apply feedback to improve sales performance.
- Support team initiatives and contribute to a positive, accountable sales environment.

Education and Experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree.
- Up to two years of experience in sales, customer service, recruiting, hospitality, retail, account management, or another customer-facing role preferred.
- Recent college graduates and candidates beginning a sales career are encouraged to apply.
- Previous staffing, manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse-industry experience is helpful but not required.
- Previous CRM experience is helpful but not required.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and business applications.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
