About the Role

We’re hiring a Head of Marketing to own how SCRYPT shows up in the institutional digital asset market - and to build the function that gets us there - across content, brand, demand generation, and PR.You set the marketing strategy, own the budget, and build and lead the team - hiring and developing the marketers, demand-gen ICs, and agencies who execute against it. You’ll stay close to the work, shaping the institutional voice and the biggest narratives yourself, but your mandate is to build a marketing engine that scales beyond any single contributor - and to make SCRYPT the most credible brand in institutional crypto to banks, asset managers, family offices, and fintechs.

Responsibilities

• Own SCRYPT’s marketing strategy and its execution across content, brand, demand generation, and PRBuild, hire, and lead the marketing team - including the Marketing Lead and demand-gen ICs - setting direction, standards, and pace
• Own and allocate the marketing budget, and be accountable for marketing’s contribution to pipeline and revenue
• Own SCRYPT’s institutional voice and brand positioning - longform content, thought leadership, fact sheets, founder narrative - directing the team to produce at scale
• Stand up and govern the AI content stack as an operating standard across the team, not a pilot Own the agency and vendor relationships
• PR firm, design, production - and hold them to outcomes
• Lead product launches end-to-end with sales and product - narrative, positioning, press, and customer comms
• Build the demand-generation foundation - measurement, attribution, funnel health - and scale it into a repeatable engine
• Own market and competitor intelligence to shape positioning against key players in institutional crypto
• Partner with sales and Asset Management leadership on enablement and institutional go-to-market
• Report marketing performance and strategy to the CEO and board

Requirements

• Experience8–12 years in B2B marketing with a track record of building and leading the function at a Series A/B (or later) fintech, payments infrastructure, or institutional crypto company.
• You’ve owned a function and a team, not just a channel
• Head/VP/Director-level scope at a scaling startup is the shape, not a marketing manager at a large incumbent.
• Leadership
• You’ve built and led marketing teams - hiring, developing, and setting the bar.
• You own strategy and budget and are comfortable being accountable for marketing’s impact on pipeline and revenue.
• Writing
• You still write and edit to the institutional B2B standard - fact sheets, thought leadership, technical product copy - and can set the editorial bar for the team.
• Portfolio required.AI-native workflow
• Daily user of leading AI tools who has built or operated AI content systems - and can make them the operating standard for a team, not just personal drafting.
• Agency management
• Has directed PR firms, design agencies, and external production teams to outcomes.
• Doesn’t hide behind them.

• B2B fintech, payments, or institutional crypto operating background.

• Fluent English required.
