Position Summary

Reporting to the CFO, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day human resources operations of the organization.

This position oversees the full employee lifecycle, ensures compliance with employment laws and organizational policies, supports leadership through coaching and guidance, and helps foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with Florence Crittenton Services' mission and values.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment and hiring process from sourcing through onboarding
• Directly supervise the Office Manager position
• Assume chairperson role of “The Kind Humans” Committee
• Administer employee benefits and maintain personnel records
• Support employee relations and provide guidance on workplace concerns
• Coach supervisors on performance management and disciplinary processes
• Coordinate and oversee the annual performance review process
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
• Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures
• Coordinate agency-wide employee training and professional development
• Lead the organization's Values Committee and support employee engagement initiatives
• Maintain the HR section of the organization's internal intranet (FloConnect)
• Partner with leadership to support organizational goals and strategic initiatives

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience
• Current SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
• Experience managing the full employee lifecycle
• Knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems (Paylocity preferred)
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online recruiting platforms

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds
