OPERATIONS MANAGER-DEMOLITION SERVICES

About the Role

A growing demolition contractor serving the Greater Seattle area, is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily field operations, crew scheduling, equipment logistics, and jobsite safety compliance. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction/demolition environment and knows how to keep projects on time, on budget, and OSHA-compliant.

What You'll Do

• Plan and coordinate demolition projects from mobilization through completion
• Manage crews, subcontractors, trucks and equipment across multiple active job sites
• Ensure compliance with WISHA/OSHA safety regulations and local Seattle/King County permitting requirements
• Oversee equipment maintenance, rental logistics, and material/debris disposal
• Work closely with estimators and project managers on scheduling and budgeting
• Serve as the primary point of contact for site supervisors and address issues in real time
• Maintain accurate daily reports, timesheets, and job documentation

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of operations or field supervisory experience in demolition, excavation, or heavy civil construction
• Working knowledge of demolition methods, equipment (excavators, skid steers, shears, etc.), and debris hauling logistics
• Familiarity with local permitting, asbestos/hazmat abatement protocols, and safety regulations
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to manage multiple crews and job sites at once
• Valid driver's license; OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
