Our service teams are the heart of what we do, and we're looking for a Service & Operations Manager to help drive operational excellence across our growing multifamily portfolio in the Greater Boston area.

Your Opportunity as Service & Operations Manager

As the Service & Operations Manager, you'll play a critical leadership role in ensuring our communities deliver an exceptional resident experience. You'll oversee maintenance operations, asset preservation initiatives, vendor management, and service excellence while partnering closely with onsite and regional leadership teams to support property performance.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who combines strong technical maintenance expertise with a customer-focused mindset and a commitment to operational excellence.

What You'll Do

• Oversee apartment maintenance operations and resident service requests, ensuring timely, high-quality completion.
• Lead day-to-day maintenance operations and service delivery.
• Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs to maintain asset quality and minimize operational disruptions.
• Conduct regular property inspections including common areas, grounds, amenities, and apartment homes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee inventory management, purchasing activities, and vendor relationships.
• Support capital improvement projects, renovations, and asset preservation initiatives as needed.
• Partner with onsite leadership to drive resident satisfaction and service quality.
• Assist with move-in and move-out inspections and quality assurance reviews.
• Review maintenance metrics, work order completion, and resident feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to service team members, vendors, and contractors as applicable.
• Support operational initiatives and special projects across the portfolio as needed.

What You'll Bring (Required Experience & Skills)

• 5+ years of experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance.
• Experience leading maintenance operations in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
• Customer service mindset with a passion for creating an exceptional resident experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and participation in an on-call rotation based on operational needs.
• Ability and willingness to perform physical work and safely move equipment, tools, and materials as required.
• Experience with property management software is preferred.

What We Offer

• Competitive pay: $105,000 - $110,000 annually, plus a 15% target bonus. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
