Supply Chain Manager, Amazon R2L INTL Supply Chain

Amazon's Supply Chain Managers play a central role in our global business. They keep our complex, international supply chains working seamlessly and efficiently. As a Supply Chain Manager (SCM), you will collaborate with multiple stakeholders across Amazon, from Operational teams fulfilling customer orders to Retail teams and everything in between.

You'll help us optimize our supply chains to enhance the customer experience while driving greater energy and cost efficiency across our business.

Key job responsibilities Inbound Service Level Management & Stock Availability: Own and drive inbound service level performance, ensuring timely receipt of inventory to maximise product availability and maintain optimal stock levels for customers.

Inventory Space Planning & Capacity Optimisation: Manage inventory placement and space allocation across fulfilment sites, ensuring efficient utilisation of available storage capacity and forward planning for incoming stock.

Inbound Scheduling & Short-Term Planning: Lead inbound scheduling activities and execute weekly planning adjustments to respond to demand fluctuations, operational constraints, and shifting priorities. Pallet Optimisation & Vendor Compliance: Drive single-product pallet compliance and adoption, working with suppliers and internal teams to increase pallet-level efficiency and reduce downstream handling costs.

Inbound Flow Predictability & Volume Smoothing: Improve inbound flow predictability through level loading initiatives, supplier schedule management, and delivery trial programmes to smooth volume distribution and reduce peak-driven inefficiencies. Data Analysis & Supply Chain Modelling: Analyse and interpret data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements across supply chains and multiple operations.

Define and refine supply chain and operating models for various business lines. Cross-Functional Partnership & Operational Support: Partner with Operations and Retail teams to advise on and manage fulfilment challenges, driving resolution and continuous improvement within warehouse environments.

Project Planning & Coordination: Support the planning and organisation of complex, cross-functional projects that improve supply chain performance and operational outcomes.

A day in the life

• Being a Supply Chain Manager for Amazon involves lots of problem solving.
• You’ll work with a number of teams to navigate challenges as and when situations impact our network.
• You’ll spend time resolving temporary issues and looking at the bigger picture to drive Amazon towards achieving new objectives.
• This role is both proactive and reactive, and you’ll have the opportunity to help forecast and plan for new projects.
• As a Supply Chain Manager, you’ll need to help with both on-the-ground tasks and more tactical work.
• No two days will be the same.
• You could spend one day helping to define our supply chain and operating models and the next assisting with a site’s resource plan for a busy period.
• Having so much variety in your role means you’ll be able to learn something new every day.
• This role can be carried out from our corporate locations in London.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLook
• Ups) at an advanced level and SQL Experience in program or project management Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics Experience in supply chain

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership Experience leading process improvements Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
