DevOps Engineer with CI/CD and Cloud Expertise

As a DevOps Engineer at Advantage Intelligence, you will be hands-on in enabling CI/CD deployments from our Application and Data Engineering Teams. You will work closely with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to automate and streamline the deployment, testing, and release of software systems while ensuring security and stability.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is (120,000-)160,000.

Skills

• Experience in site reliability, software engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure engineering
• Familiarity with microservice architecture and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience in cloud configuration, deployment, support, and migration (GCP/Tanzu is a plus)
• General experience with distributed architecture and/or high availability
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, Go, Shell scripting, or Perl
• Experience with build automation and continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) tools (Git, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Artifactory, Azure DevOps is a plus)
• Familiarity with monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Datadog)
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Help deploy and support service release pipelines on Cloud Platform using Kubernetes and CNCF technologies
• Collaborate with project team members (Product Managers, Architects, software engineers, etc.) for successful deployment of business solutions
• Enable self-service to empower engineers to quickly develop solutions and address operational needs
• Identify and implement opportunities on the platform that drive improvements in performance, scalability, reliability, and re-usability

Qualifications

• Proven experience in DevOps roles or similar positions
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and related technologies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education Requirements

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
