Financial Analyst - Costing Full-Time | Permanent Location: London, ON

Salary Range

Job Summary

We have an exciting new role for a Financial Analyst - Costing with a top company in the London area!

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support financial reporting, planning, costing, and business analysis activities. This role plays a key part in maintaining and enhancing financial and product-related reporting while supporting business decisions across Accounting, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Costing & Analysis: Support product costing, standard cost maintenance, variance analysis, and inventory valuation
• Month-End Close: Support month-end close, forecasting, and budgeting activities
• Reporting: Prepare, maintain, and enhance financial and operational reports.
• Update and distribute daily and monthly management reports
• Business Support: Assist with preparation of month-end reporting packages and provide ad-hoc financial analysis and field support
• Project & Investment Analysis: Conduct investment and project analysis to support business decisions
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement financial reporting process improvements
• Planning: Support the annual budget and business planning activities
• Systems: Maintain financial databases and reporting tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience within manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments required
• Strong costing experience required.
• Product costing, variance analysis, and inventory costing preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
• Experience with ERP systems required.
• SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred
• Experience with Hyperion or similar financial systems is an asset
