Role Description

The Bilingual HR Manager (Manufacturing) is a full-time, on-site role based in Hawthorne, CA. This role oversees HR functions for manufacturing operations, including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, onboarding, and compliance with labor laws and company policies.

The HR Manager partners closely with production leadership to support workforce planning, ensure consistent application of policies, and address workplace issues promptly and fairly. Daily responsibilities include managing HR documentation, coordinating training and development initiatives, supporting health and safety programs, and maintaining accurate HR records and reports.

The role requires fluent communication in English and Spanish to support a diverse workforce, conduct meetings and investigations, and ensure all employees have access to clear and inclusive HR guidance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Human Resources management within a manufacturing or industrial environment, including employee relations and HR operations.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices, particularly in California.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate clearly in both languages in verbal and written forms.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and general computer skills (e.g., MS Office, data entry, reporting).
• Proven ability to coach managers, resolve conflicts, and handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience designing or supporting training, development, and performance management programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and HR experience.
• Prior experience with transitioning to a new payroll system is a plus
• Prior experience in an employee-owned company (ESOP) or engagement-focused culture is a plus.
