This is a sales role. Prior experience in booking clients and managing private events is required. TRIPLE SEAT EXPERIENCE HIGHLY PREFERRED
Responsibilities
The Event Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by effectively marketing and selling the event venue’s facilities and services. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing client relationships and ensuring the successful planning and execution of events using a proactive approach and excellent communication and organizational skills.
Sales and Marketing
- The Event Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients from beginning to end. You will work closely with the General Manager and the Director of Sales to effectively promote and sell the venue to exceed sales goals.
- Utilize your personal network as well as sales outreach to generate leads
- Respond to inquiries via email, phone and wedding websites within 48 hours
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Identify and target potential clients through networking, cold calling, and other sales tactics.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of prospective and current clients.
- Create and distribute marketing materials and promotions to attract new business.
- Represent the venue at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Conduct site visits and tours for prospective clients.
- Understand client needs and preferences to tailor event proposals and packages.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
- Provide vendor recommendations to clients
Event Planning and Coordination
- Meet with prospective clients, conduct site tours, draft proposals/contracts
- Manage entire event flow for you clients: initial inquiry -> site visit -> proposal -> contract signing & deposit collection -> vendor recommendations -> collecting all documentation/details -> final walkthrough & floorplan creation -> onsite presence at event as needed -> event follow up. Work closely with clients to plan and execute events, including weddings, corporate events, private parties, and more.
- Coordinate with internal departments (operations / onsite manager) to ensure seamless event execution.
- Manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics.
- Provide on-site support during events to address any issues and ensure client satisfaction.
Administration
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and event details.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all venue policies and procedures.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to provide high quality customer service.
- Proficient in Triple Seat and other software used to aid in planning and execution of events.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- High level of professionalism and customer service orientation.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and the ability to take initiative when issues arise.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.

Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a event sales management role
- Wedding experience a plus, but not required
- Experience with TRIPLESEAT preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- High level of computer literacy and usage of google suite
- Passion for hospitality, events and customer service
Physical Demands
- The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for up to 10 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
Compensation
$50,000 base plus 3% commission.
Health, Dental and Vision 75% paid for individual, vacation, parking, dining discount at sister locations.
