Service Delivery Manager (Cloud & Compute)

Overview

A leading manufacturing organization with a global footprint is seeking a Service Delivery Manager (Cloud & Compute) to join its technology team in Singapore. This role will oversee the strategy, delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of cloud and compute services across a complex enterprise environment.

The position offers the opportunity to shape cloud modernization initiatives, enhance operational resilience, and drive service excellence across hybrid infrastructure platforms.

Responsibilities

As the accountable owner for cloud and compute services, you will define and execute the service roadmap while ensuring alignment with business and technology objectives. You will oversee the delivery, performance, availability, and ongoing optimization of cloud platforms, virtualization environments, and compute infrastructure.

Working closely with internal technology teams and external service providers, you will establish service standards, monitor service levels, manage operational risks, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

The role will also involve driving automation, overseeing incident resolution, managing vendor performance, supporting contract and licensing discussions, and ensuring cost-effective service delivery through effective financial and capacity management.

Requirements

You hold a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with relevant certifications in cloud technologies, IT service management, or infrastructure platforms viewed favorably.

You bring experience managing cloud and infrastructure services within large-scale enterprise environments, with strong knowledge of service delivery frameworks, SLA management, automation, virtualization technologies, and hybrid cloud architectures.

Exposure to major cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, alongside infrastructure technologies including VMware and enterprise compute environments, will be advantageous. You are a collaborative stakeholder manager with the ability to balance operational priorities, governance requirements, vendor relationships, and long-term service improvement objectives.
