Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of our HR function. In this role, you will partner with leadership to shape talent strategies, ensure compliance, manage employee relations, and foster an engaging, high-performing workplace.

As the top HR professional in the organization, you will serve as a trusted resource for employees and supervisors, guiding consistent application of policies and supporting overall organizational goals.

Compensation

Salary starting at $100,000, plus bonus potential. Final compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and talent strategies.
• Advise leaders on HR best practices, organizational structure, and employment risk.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Lead HR programs, including performance management, compensation, benefits, leave, training, recognition, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for management regarding employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
• Coach supervisors on performance management, corrective actions, and employee communication.
• Lead performance review cycles and internal compensation equity.
• Oversee recruiting, onboarding, and integration of new employees.
• Support company workplace safety and training coordinating with management team
• Manage compliance reporting, recordkeeping, and interactions with external agencies as needed.
• Develop initiatives and programs to build a positive workplace culture aligned with company values.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 2 years in a manager or lead role.
• Previous Experience as HR Leader in the Construction, Heavy Equipment, or Manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience managing performance management, employee relations, and workplace investigations/
• SHRM-CP or PHR required; SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
• Excellent coaching, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and company safety practices preferred.
