Hiring a Real Estate Accountant in Dubai with strong experience in UAE accounting, property transactions, VAT, corporate tax, payroll, commissions, and financial reporting.

The successful candidate must have proven experience working within the UAE real estate industry and be capable of independently managing the company’s daily accounting and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain accurate records of property sales, rental income, agent commissions, service charges, and property-related expenses.
• Calculate and process salaries, employee bonuses, agent commissions, reimbursements, and final settlements.
• Prepare cash-flow reports, budgets, forecasts, management reports, and variance analyses.
• Manage UAE VAT returns and support corporate tax filing and compliance.
• Review invoices, receipts, payment requests, contracts, and supporting documents before payments are processed.
• Monitor outstanding payments, receivables, and company financial obligations.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, developers, suppliers, landlords, government authorities, and external accounting consultants.
• Maintain complete, organized, confidential, and audit-ready financial records.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, commerce, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, CA, or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum of five years of accounting experience.
• Proven accounting experience within a UAE real estate company is essential.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, corporate tax, payroll, financial reporting, and audit requirements.
• Experience managing property sales, rental transactions, broker commissions, service charges, developer payments, and landlord accounts.
• Proficiency in Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally, or similar accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidates currently residing in the UAE are preferred.
