Requirements

The Role

As a Senior Tax Accountant at Reach, you'll play a key role in managing our global indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Working as part of our Tax team, you'll own the end-to-end preparation and filing of VAT, GST, and sales tax returns while supporting a fast-growing global Merchant of Record platform.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical tax expertise with process improvement, automation, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic FinTech environment.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and file VAT, GST, and sales tax returns across multiple jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate compliance.
• Analyze transaction data, investigate discrepancies, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Research changes in international tax legislation and assess their impact on Reach.
• Support internal teams with tax-related inquiries and compliance guidance.
• Contribute to automation initiatives and AI-assisted tax workflows.
• Partner with Data, Operations, and Finance teams to improve tax processes and reporting.

What You Bring

• 4+ years of experience in indirect tax or tax accounting.
• Experience managing multi-jurisdiction VAT, GST, or sales tax compliance.
• Strong understanding of indirect tax principles.
• Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
• Interest in AI-assisted workflows and process automation.

Nice To Have

• Professional accounting or tax qualification (or currently pursuing one).
• Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm experience.
• Experience supporting tax audits.
• US sales tax experience.
• Experience working with third-party tax advisors.
• FinTech, ecommerce, or startup experience.
