Helen and Sons Business Consultancy is a leading UAE business consultancy providing Accounting, Bookkeeping, VAT, Corporate Tax, Audit Support, Company Formation, and Business Advisory Services.

We are looking for an experienced Audit Associate who can manage the operational aspects of Accounting, VAT, Corporate Tax, and Audit services while supporting our Sales team with technical consultations. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling client portfolios, ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations, and assisting prospective clients in understanding our accounting and tax solutions.

Key Responsibilities- Accounting, VAT & Corporate Tax Operations

• Manage accounting and bookkeeping for multiple client portfolios
• Prepare and review VAT returns in compliance with FTA regulations
• Handle Corporate Tax registrations, amendments, return filing, and related compliance
• Coordinate with clients to collect accounting records and supporting documents
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and reconciliation statements
• Maintain accounting records using Zoho Books
• Ensure timely submission of VAT and Corporate Tax filings
• Coordinate with the FTA portal for registrations, amendments, refunds, deregistration, and other tax-related services
• Support audit engagements and prepare audit-ready financial records
• Ensure clients remain compliant with UAE accounting and tax regulations

Client Advisory & Sales Support

• Attend client meetings along with the Sales team to explain Accounting, VAT, Corporate Tax, and Audit services
• Understand client requirements and recommend suitable accounting and tax solutions
• Assist the Sales team in preparing quotations and service proposals
• Respond to client inquiries related to Accounting, VAT, Corporate Tax, and financial compliance
• Provide professional guidance on tax obligations, filing deadlines, and compliance requirements
• Support the Sales team in converting prospective clients into long-term customers

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of UAE experience in Accounting, VAT, Corporate Tax, or Audit
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and FTA regulations
• Experience handling operational work related to VAT and Corporate Tax compliance
• Previous experience in an Accounting, Audit, Tax, or Consultancy firm preferred
• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books (Mandatory)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to explain accounting and tax concepts clearly to clients
• Strong client-handling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client portfolios
• Fluent in English

Preferred Skills

• Experience with FTA portal services and tax compliance procedures
• Experience preparing audit-ready financial statements
• Knowledge of UAE accounting standards and business compliance
• Experience supporting business development or client presentations
