Business Financial Analyst

The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Director's Office and Operations team. They will be responsible for transforming complex business data into actionable insights, strengthening reporting processes, and monitoring store and regional performance.

Responsibilities

• Convert business and operational data into meaningful insights for decision-making.
• Strengthen reporting discipline and enhance data-driven culture.
• Monitor store and regional performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Support budgeting processes and conduct feasibility analysis.
• Provide practical recommendations to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Operations team to understand business needs and challenges.
• Develop and maintain efficient reporting systems and tools.
• Analyze variances and trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Present analytical findings to stakeholders and provide actionable insights.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in business analysis.

Qualifications

• Semi-qualified or fully qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong accounting and finance background.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in business analysis, MIS reporting, or retail operations analysis.
• Proficiency in budgeting, variance analysis, and financial planning and analysis.
• Experience in retail, home furnishing, or multi-branch business operations is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate complex ideas.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in using analytical tools and software for data analysis.
