With a strong regional presence across the GCC and growing international footprint, we are seeking an exceptional financial leader to serve as our Chief Financial Officer and help drive our next phase of growth.
Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the CFO will serve as a key strategic partner in shaping the financial direction of the Group. This executive will oversee all financial operations across the holding company and its subsidiaries, ensuring financial integrity, driving capital efficiency, and enabling sustainable value creation for shareholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Financial Leadership
- Partner with the Board to define and execute the Group's long-term financial strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives across all verticals.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across the holding company and all subsidiaries.
- Drive capital allocation decisions, ensuring optimal return on investment across the Group's diverse portfolio.
- Provide strategic counsel on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, and other corporate transactions.
- Financial Operations & Controls
- Oversee all financial reporting, consolidation, and disclosure requirements across the Group in compliance with IFRS standards.
- Establish and maintain a robust internal control framework, ensuring financial accuracy and regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions.
- Lead treasury management, including cash flow optimization, liquidity planning, and foreign exchange risk management.
- Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and financing arrangements to support Group operations and growth.
- Investor Relations & Governance
- Serve as a primary liaison with investors, lenders, rating agencies, and regulatory bodies including the UAE Ministry of Finance and relevant free zone authorities.
- Ensure compliance with UAE corporate governance standards and international best practices.
- Present financial performance, outlook, and strategy to the Board of Directors and key stakeholders.
- Lead relationships with external auditors and oversee the annual audit process across all Group entities.
- Team Leadership & Organizational Development
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing, multi-jurisdictional finance function encompassing accounting, tax, treasury, financial planning & analysis, and internal audit.
- Drive a culture of financial discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement across all Group entities.
- Champion digital transformation initiatives within the finance function, including ERP upgrades and financial systems modernization.
- Develop succession plans and talent pipelines within the finance organization.
- Qualifications & Experience
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required).
- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent postgraduate qualification (preferred).
- Professional qualification: CA, CPA, CFA, or ACCA (required).
- Experience
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a C-suite or equivalent executive financial role.
- Proven track record in a diversified conglomerate, holding company, or multi-business group environment.
- Extensive experience operating within the UAE and/or broader GCC region, with a deep understanding of local regulatory, tax, and compliance frameworks (VAT, Corporate Tax, DIFC/ADGM regulations).
- Demonstrated success in leading complex M&A transactions, capital markets activities, and cross-border financing.
- Experience managing multi-billion AED consolidated balance sheets across diverse industry verticals.
- Prior exposure to publicly listed entities or sovereign investment vehicles is a strong advantage.
