Accountant

Our client is an established organization seeking an Accountant to join its finance team. The company is committed to maintaining strong financial controls and is looking for a professional who can contribute to accurate reporting and effective financial management.

The Role

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, supporting financial reporting activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures. The role requires strong analytical capabilities and a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily accounting entries.
• Maintain the general ledger.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Prepare VAT and tax-related documentation where applicable.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate financial records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.3+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Professional accounting qualifications are advantageous.
• Fluency in English is required.
