Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance & Tax Intern to join our team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in core finance and taxation functions within a real-world business environment. You will work closely with our finance team to support daily operations, ensure compliance, and contribute to key financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the end-to-end process of VAT invoicing, including issuance, verification, and management to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Support the preparation of materials and documentation for timely tax filings and other compliance-related tasks.
• Contribute to the preparation of basic financial reports and assist with data analysis to support decision-making.
• Provide crucial support during the annual audit and internal reviews by preparing necessary documentation and schedules.
• Perform a variety of other ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks as assigned by the finance manager.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or a closely related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and an interest in tax regulations; prior academic or practical exposure is a strong advantage.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (e.g., Pivot
• Tables, VLOOKUP). Familiarity with any accounting software is a significant plus.
• Meticulous attention to detail, a strong sense of responsibility, and a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to commit to a full-time internship (5 days per week) for a minimum period of 3 months.
• Ideal candidate must have freelance / spouse / parent visa.
