Finance Manager ( 6 Months Contract)

Job Purpose

Responsible for overall Financial operations and controls of the Company.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage total Value At Risk (VAR) and design risk management strategy / techniques
• Manage total funds optimal utilization and cost of funds
• Manage treasury and dealing in relation to funding of various local and foreign banks as per plan and estimates
• Implement accounting policies and relevant book keeping rules / SOPs covering all areas of Accounting and Finance activities and ensure they adhered to
• Ensure revenue recognition is proper and internal controls are adequate in all processes
• Correct treatment of any applicable tax laws
• Manage MIS and Management reports to various stakeholders as per business need
• Support GM in formulating Business Strategy with necessary financial inputs including business plans, budgets, financial analysis of projects and new initiatives
• Continual enhancements to the Internal Control systems within the Company particularly in the areas of Finance, Accounting and Administration
• Actively manage costs, and benchmark cost to ensure reduction over time
• Manage IT / Technology inputs in domain to improve processes, automate and reduce cost footprint over time
• Liaison and relationship management with external / internal auditors for statutory and any other agreed audit
• Liaison and relationship management with legal firms to monitor ongoing legal cases or legal matters
• Liaison and relationship management with local Banks
• Interaction with clients / vendors on financial and legal issues with respect to the Contracts

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
