Job Summary

Our client is looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Associate to support and maintain their existing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP system. This role is ideal for a junior functional consultant with hands-on experience in Business Central support and exposure to ERP implementation projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with business users and senior consultants to optimize system performance, resolve functional issues, and assist with continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day functional support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central users.
• Analyze and troubleshoot functional issues related to Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Warehouse, and other Business Central modules.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Configure Business Central based on business needs while following best practices.
• Support system enhancements, testing, and deployment activities.
• Participate in ERP implementation projects, including requirement gathering, configuration, UAT, training, and go-live support.
• Assist with data migration, system validation, and process documentation.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support users during implementation and post-go-live.
• Prepare user manuals, process documentation, and training materials.
• Collaborate with technical consultants and developers when customizations or integrations are required.
• Provide end-user training and ongoing functional support.
• Ensure system processes align with business objectives and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, or a related field.2–5 years of experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant/Associate or similar ERP functional role.
• Experience supporting an existing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP environment.
• Exposure to at least 2–3 ERP implementation projects, including UAT, configuration, testing, or go-live support.
• Good understanding of Business Central modules, including: Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory Management and Warehouse Management
• Experience gathering business requirements and preparing functional documentation.
• Ability to troubleshoot functional issues and provide user support.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with business users and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate (MB-800) - required
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV migration projects is an advantage.

Basic understanding of Power BI, Power Automate, or Power Apps is a plus.

Familiarity with ERP implementation methodologies and business process improvement.
