Job Description

• The primary purpose of the job is to assist with all taxation duties including Transfer pricing, Corporation tax, VAT, Foreign and International tax compliance and reporting as well as collating documentation for the purpose of Tax requirements.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESAbility to interact with multiple stakeholders across the bank

• Dealing with Tax authority as required on a timely basis

• Job Context Specific Accountability
• Assisting all Senior Tax members of Group Tax team on ad-hoc projects / tasks
• Assist in compiling all Tax governance requirements in accordance with Group Governance policy and guidelines
• Liaise with FAB International sites on requests for information and data
• Assist with monthly UAE VAT calculations as needed as maker
• Assist with reconciliations on information from the FTA portal periodically
• Assist with preparation of SOPs within Group tax function
• Assist with all Group Tax deliverables, managing assigned tasks / projects, completing BAU tasks, and preparing charts, templates, and calendars etc as required
• Assist with ensuring that all tax filings and deadlines are met; monitoring basis
• Assist the Group Head of Tax and Group Tax team with all on-going direct and indirect tax issues arising in the bank globally as needed.

Ensure documentation retained succinctly and stored appropriately for future tax authority challenges.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification
• Basis accounting or tax academic qualifications preferred
• Minimum first or Second degree qualification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Minimum Experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Banking industry experience preferred
• Previous work experience preferred
• Ability to handle pressure and tight timeframes
